Western Railway Recruitment 2024-2025: Sports Quota Notification Released

The Western Railway, under the Ministry of Railways, has released the indicative notification for recruitment against the sports quota for the year 2024-2025. The recruitment process will fill up 21 Group C posts and 43 erstwhile Group D posts across various sports disciplines.

Key Dates:
– Opening Date and Time: 16.08.2024 at 10:00 hrs
– Closing Date and Time: 14.09.2024 at 18:00 hrs

Eligibility Criteria:
– The recruitment is open to eligible sportspersons who have acquired the required sports achievements between 01.04.2022 and 14.09.2024.
– Applicants must be active and eligible to apply for appointment against these posts under the Sports Quota.

1. Level 5/4 (7th PC) – Total 5 Posts
– Basketball (W): All rounder – 1 post
– Cricket (M): Batsman, Spin Bowler, Fast Bowler, All rounder – 1 post
– Cricket (W): Batswomen, Spin all-rounder, Pace All rounder – 1 post
– Wrestling (W) Free Style: 50kg, 55kg, 57kg, 59kg, 62kg, 65kg, 72kg – 1 post
– Wrestling (M) Greco Roman: 55kg, 60kg, 130kg – 1 post

2. Level 3/2 (7th PC) – Total 16 Posts
