OakNorth STEM Scholarship and Mentorship Programme: Empowering Female Students in STEM
The OakNorth STEM Scholarship and Mentorship Programme aims to provide financial assistance to meritorious and underprivileged female students from Haryana, Uttarakhand, and Bihar who are pursuing graduation in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) fields. This initiative is designed to uplift female students studying in government colleges and universities by offering them both financial support and mentorship opportunities.
Eligibility Criteria
The scholarship is open to female students who have passed Class 12 and are currently enrolled in any year of a STEM-related undergraduate program at government institutions. Applicants must belong to Haryana, Uttarakhand, or Bihar, and their family income should not exceed INR 3.5 lakh annually from all sources. Additionally, candidates must have secured 80% or above in their Class 12 exams, except for children with single parents or orphans, where the requirement is relaxed to 65%.
Scholarship Benefits
Selected students will receive a fixed amount of INR 30,000 to assist with their educational expenses.
