Islamic University of Science & Technology (IUST), Awantipora, invites applications from eligible candidates for the position of Contractual Assistant Professors on academic arrangement for various departments. These positions are aimed at fulfilling the teaching, research, and allied academic activities at IUST for the academic year 2024.
Departments/Subjects Available:
1. Physics
– Eligibility: Master’s degree with 55% marks in the relevant subject from a recognized university. NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D. required.
2. Kashmiri (Habba Khatoon Centre for Kashmiri Language and Literature)
– Eligibility: Master’s degree with 55% marks in a relevant subject and NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D.
3. Computer Science
– Eligibility: B.E./B. Tech./M.Tech./M.S./MCA with first class. Additional experience requirements based on the qualification.

4. Management
– Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, Master’s in Business Administration, PGDM, M.Com., or other related fields with first class. Two years of professional experience is mandatory.
5. Architecture
– Eligibility: B. Arch./M. Arch. with minimum 60% marks and relevant professional experience.
6. Design Your Degree (DYoD) – Design Thinking
– Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree or 4-year diploma in Design, Fine Arts, Applied Arts, Architecture, or Engineering. Master’s degree or equivalent Post Graduate Diploma required.
Salary/Emoluments:
– For PG candidates: ₹45,000 per month
– For NET/SET/GATE qualified: ₹48,000 per month
– For Ph.D. holders: ₹50,000 per month
– For NET/SET/GATE & Ph.D.: ₹50,000 per month
– For B. Arch./M. Arch.: ₹50,000 per month

Important Dates:

Selection Process:
