JKBOPEE Announces First Round of Counselling for 10th-Based Paramedical Diploma Courses 2024
Srinagar, October 9, 2024 – The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has released the schedule for the first round of physical counselling for admissions into the 10th-based paramedical diploma courses for the year 2024. This session aims to allocate seats to eligible candidates in various Government and Private institutions across Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.
The counselling, conducted at JKBOPEE offices in Jammu and Srinagar, is scheduled for October 16-17, 2024. All eligible candidates, including those from reserved categories, are invited to participate in rank-based counselling as per the details below:
Counselling Schedule
October 16, 2024 (Wednesday): Ranks 001-700
October 17, 2024 (Thursday): Ranks 701-1462
Key Guidelines for Counselling
Candidates are advised to report by 8:30 a.m. on their assigned day for registration, attendance, and other formalities. They must pay a non-refundable counselling fee of Rs. 1000 using debit or credit cards via POS machines available at the JKBOPEE offices.
The required documents include domicile certificates, category certificates (if applicable), and other relevant documents. Candidates who miss their scheduled day may attend on the following day but may face limitations in seat availability as per merit.
Candidates with pending category certificates must submit them within the prescribed deadline, as per Notification No. 070-BOPEE of 2024. Those failing to do so will be considered under open merit if they meet other eligibility requirements.
For those unable to attend in person, JKBOPEE allows a representative to attend on their behalf with an authorized letter.
Seat Allotment Process
The seat allotment will adhere to S.O. 176 and S.O. 305 guidelines, and the provisional selection list will be published post-counselling. The list will display candidate details such as application number, name, gender, category, rank, and allocated institution.
