Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), Awantipora, invites online applications from eligible candidates for temporary positions in the Engineering Wing. Candidates must be domiciles of J&K, and the engagement will be on a project basis, co-terminus with the project’s duration.
Available Positions:
- Site Engineer (Civil)
- No. of Posts: 02
- Eligibility:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with at least 55% marks or equivalent Grade Point Average.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in executing RCC frame type building and other civil works.
- Head Draftsman
- No. of Posts: 01
- Eligibility:
- Preferably retired from Government service with vast experience in formulating estimates and analyzing RCC frame type structures.
- Works Supervisor (Civil & Electrical)
- No. of Posts: 03 (02 Civil, 01 Electrical)
- Eligibility:
- Civil: Diploma in Civil Engineering with 55% marks and 3 years of experience in supervising frame type structures.
- Electrical: Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 55% marks and 3 years of relevant experience in electrical works.
- Watch & Ward for Maintenance of Electrical Engineering Infrastructure
- No. of Posts: 04
- Eligibility:
- ITI with at least 1 year of experience in maintaining relevant electrical infrastructure.
