The Government of Jammu & Kashmir, Department of Ecology, Environment & Remote Sensing (DEERS), invites applications for a temporary project-based position under the WUCMA Project. The position is open to candidates domiciled in J&K who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria.
Position Details
- Position: Principal Project Associate
- Emoluments: ₹49,000 + HRA per month

Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification:
- Master’s Degree in Environmental Science/Limnology/Hydrology from a recognized university with 8 years of experience in R&D in industrial/academic institutions or scientific activities/services.
- OR Doctoral Degree in Environmental Science/Limnology/Hydrology with 4 years of relevant experience.
- Experience:
- Research and development experience in scientific activities within industrial/academic institutions.
General Conditions
- Candidates must provide proof of domicile in J&K.

Selection Process
- A Proficiency Test (70 marks) and Interview (30 marks) will be conducted.
- The selected candidate will be posted at WUCMA Headquarters, Jammu/Srinagar.
Important Notes
- This is a temporary engagement for an initial period of 3 months or co-terminus with the project.
- The engagement may be extended yearly based on performance and availability of funds.
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
