WISE Internship in IPR (WISE-IPR) 2024: A Unique Opportunity for Women Scientists
The Ministry of Science and Technology, Department of Science and Technology (DST), through its WISE-KIRAN Division, invites applications for the WISE Internship in IPR (WISE-IPR) programme for 2024. This initiative aims to empower women scientists by providing specialized training in the field of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR).

About the Programme:
The WISE-IPR internship is a one-year training programme that combines theoretical knowledge with on-the-job training across various centers in India. It focuses on equipping women with skills in Intellectual Property Rights, a growing field in science and technology.
Eligibility:
- Women aged 25-45 years.
- Must hold a PG/Ph.D. or an equivalent degree in Basic or Applied Sciences.
- Women in permanent/regular employment are not eligible.
Stipend Structure:
The monthly stipend varies based on the candidate’s qualifications:
- M.Sc. in Basic or Applied Sciences / B.Tech. / MBBS or equivalent: ₹30,000/- pm
- M.Phil. / M.Tech. / M.Pharma. / M.V.Sc. or equivalent: ₹35,000/- pm
- Ph.D. in Basic or Applied Sciences or equivalent: ₹40,000/- pm
