Recruitment Notice: Anganwadi Workers and Helpers in Batwara, Jammu & Kashmir
The Office of the Child Development Project Officer (CDPO), Batwara, under the Government of Jammu and Kashmir, has announced vacancies for Anganwadi Workers (AWW) and Anganwadi Helpers (AWH) under the 4th phase of the Poshan Project Batwara.

Eligibility Criteria
For Anganwadi Workers (AWW):
- The candidate must be a domicile of Jammu & Kashmir.
- Must be a resident of the electoral ward where the Anganwadi Centre is situated.
- Minimum educational qualification: 10+2 (Higher Secondary).
- Preference will be given to candidates with higher marks in 10+2.
- Graduation and above are not considered eligible.
- Candidates must provide proof of residency and marital status as required.
- Weightage will be given to candidates from families of retiring AWWs.
For Anganwadi Helpers (AWH):
- Candidates must fulfill similar domicile and residency requirements as for AWW.
Application Process
Interested and eligible candidates must submit their applications in the prescribed format (Annexure ‘A’) to the CDPO office in Batwara. The application form must include all necessary details such as name, ward, educational qualifications, and supporting documents.
Selection Process
Selection will be merit-based, considering marks obtained in 10+2, and preference will be given to candidates meeting all the criteria specified.

The detailed list of Anganwadi Centres (AWCs) with vacancies is provided in Annexure ‘B’. This includes centers in various wards such as Sheikh Mohalla, Chopan Mohalla, Mir Mohalla, and others for AWW posts and locations like Shivpora and Chhaterhama for AWH posts.
