The Office of the Child Development Project Officer, POSHAN Project Devsar, Kulgam, invites applications for the recruitment of Sanginis (Anganwadi Workers) and Sahayikas (Anganwadi Helpers) in Anganwadi Centers under Phase-3.   1. Sanginis (Anganwadi Workers) – 01 Post
  2. Sahayikas (Anganwadi Helpers) – 02 Posts

Eligibility Criteria

For Sanginis (Anganwadi Workers)

1. Domicile: Must be a resident of the Union Territory of J&K.
2. Age Limit: Women aged between 18 to 37 years as of 01-01-2023.
3. Qualification:
   • Minimum: 10+2.
   • Maximum: Graduation.
   • Preference will be given to candidates with higher qualifications.
4. Residency: Must reside in the electoral ward where the Anganwadi Center is located. Proof of residence is mandatory.

Recruitment of Anganwadi Helpers in Poshan Project Wavoora

For Sahayikas (Anganwadi Helpers)

1. Domicile: Must be a resident of the Union Territory of J&K.
2. Age Limit: Women aged between 18 to 37 years as of 01-01-2023.
3. Qualification: Minimum matriculation (10th).

1. Start Date: 17-01-2025
2. Last Date: 01-02-2025
3. Applicants must submit the prescribed application form (Annexure ‘A’) along with required documents.

• Two passport-size photographs
• Identification Proof

Selection Process

• Selection is based on merit and adherence to eligibility criteria.
• Priority will be given to widows, destitute women, or those with no income sources.
• Additional weightage will be given for candidates belonging to retiring Anganwadi Workers/Helpers’ families.
