University of Kashmir to Release Admission Notification for 2025
The Directorate of Admissions and Competitive Examinations, University of Kashmir, has announced that the admission notification for various postgraduate (PG), integrated undergraduate (UG) & PG, and other professional and non-professional courses for the academic session 2025 will be issued soon.
Preparation Guidelines for Aspirants
Prospective candidates seeking admission to different programs offered by the university are advised to keep the necessary documents ready in advance to avoid last-minute inconveniences. The required documents include:
- Marks certificates of the qualifying examination
- Domicile certificate
- Date of birth certificate
- Character certificate
- Provisional certificate
- Reserved category certificate (if applicable)
Candidates must note that “certificates under process” will not be accepted under any circumstances.
Special Instructions for Sports Category Candidates
Students applying under the Sports Category must get their sports achievements verified by the Director, Physical Education and Sports, University of Kashmir. Only original International, National, or UT-level sports certificates will be considered for verification. After thorough assessment, the Directorate of Physical Education and Sports will issue the official Sports Category Certificate, which is mandatory for admission under this category. Any sports certificate obtained from unauthorized sources will not be entertained.
