Recruitment Notification: Anganwadi Helper Positions in POSHAN Project Sumbal

The recruitment aims to fill three (03) vacant positions for the post of Anganwadi Helper (AWH) in the Anganwadi Centres (AWCs) of Sumbal.

Eligibility Criteria
Anganwadi Helpers:
- The selection of the Helper shall be restricted to the electoral ward where the Anganwadi Centre is located.
- Only women candidates aged 18-37 years (as of 01-01-2024) are eligible.
- The candidate must be a domicile of Jammu & Kashmir.
- The minimum qualification required is matriculation (10th standard).
- If no matriculate candidate is available, those with at least 8th standard qualification may be considered.
- Preference will be given to the most needy or destitute married woman from the same ward. If no married candidate is available, an unmarried candidate may be considered.
- Selection will be made as per Government Orders No. 222-JK (SWD) of 2022 and No. 103-JK (SWD) of 2023.

Application Process
- Applications must be submitted in the prescribed Performa (Annexure A).
- The application submission starts immediately from the date of notification.
- The last date for submission is 14 days from the date of publication.
Document Verification Requirements
Shortlisted candidates will need to present original documents and self-attested photocopies at the time of verification, including:
- Educational Certificates (Matriculation/8th standard marks sheet, diploma, or degree).
- Date of Birth Certificate.
- Domicile Certificate and Ward Certificate.
- Unmarried Certificate (if applicable).
- Two passport-size photographs.
- Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar Card or Voter ID Card).
Failure to produce the required documents at the time of verification may lead to disqualification.
