Government Medical College, Srinagar Issues Notification for Junior Residents (House Surgeons) Examination Objections
The Government Medical College (GMC), Srinagar, has released an official notification regarding the written examination conducted on February 4, 2025, for the selection and engagement of Junior Residents (House Surgeons) on a tenure basis. Procedure for Filing Objections
Candidates who believe that any answer in the provided Answer Key is incorrect can submit their objections/representations using the prescribed format (Annexure-A). The representation must be accompanied by:
- Documentary proof/evidence supporting the objection.
- A fee of ₹300 per question, which is refundable in case the objection is found to be valid.
- Submission of the representation within two days of the notification’s issuance.
The objections must be submitted in the Academic Section of GMC Srinagar before the deadline, which is February 6, 2025, at 4:00 PM. No representations will be entertained after this deadline.
Expert Review and Finalization of Answer Key
All submitted objections will be reviewed by a subject expert. If a challenge is deemed valid, the Answer Key will be revised accordingly and applied to all candidates. The finalized key will be considered conclusive, and the results will be based on the updated version.

Candidates need to fill out Annexure-A, which includes details such as:
- Candidate’s Name and Roll Number
- Session of the Examination (Forenoon/Afternoon)
- Address and Payment Details
- Objection Details (with Question Number and Supporting Documents)
A 16-digit account number is also required for refund processing in case of valid objections.
