IGNOU January Admission: Registration date extended till Feb 28

IGNOU registration date extended: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has announced an extension for the registration deadline for January 2025 admissions, now set for February 28. Eligible candidates can apply for admission through the official website at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.
To complete the registration process, applicants must submit all necessary documents in the specified format. IGNOU offers a wide range of programmes, including undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and certificate courses, with admissions available in both January and June sessions.
The original deadline for registration was January 31, which has now been extended to provide candidates with additional time to apply.
Steps to fill IGNOU registration form
– Visit the official website at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in
– Click on ‘IGNOU registration’ link
– Enter personal and basic academic details to complete the initial registration
– Select a username and create a password
– Login with the allotted credentials and complete IGNOU 2025 registration form.
– Upload scanned documents such as photograph, signature, caste certificate, and education certificate
– Do payment of the IGNOU 2025 registration fee and submit the application form.
– Download the application form for the future reference
Candidates have the option to cancel their application directly through the registration portal. It is important to note that requests for application cancellation should not be sent via email or through iGRAM. Once an application is canceled, it cannot be reinstated, and any applicable refund will be processed according to the university’s policies.
Following the confirmation of their admission to IGNOU, candidates will have the opportunity to apply for Government of India scholarships through the official portal, scholarships.gov.in.
