Jammu & Kashmir Government Forms Committee to Frame Syllabi for Lecturer Posts
JKPSC: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has issued an official order (Government Order No. 461-JK(Edu) of 2025) sanctioning the formation of a committee to frame syllabi for 27 different disciplines. These syllabi will be used for the recruitment of 594 Lecturer posts referred to the Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission.
Committee Formation and Members
The newly constituted committee comprises key officials from the School Education Department and universities. The members include:
- Director, School Education, Kashmir – Chairman
- Director, School Education, Jammu – Member
- Special Secretary to the Government, School Education Department – Member
- Registrar, University of Kashmir – Member
- Registrar, University of Jammu – Member
The committee will collaborate with subject experts from the University of Jammu and the University of Kashmir to frame the required syllabi. The completed syllabi are to be submitted within one month from the issuance of this order.
