JKAS Departmental Exams Process Nearing Completion: CM Omar Abdullah
Says, Syllabus Finalization Nearing Completion, Exams to Follow
Srinagar, Mar 15: The Office of the Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister has acknowledged delays in the JKAS departmental exams but assured that the process is in its final stages.
In a post on X, the CM’s office, as per news agency JKNS, wrote, “In my recent reply in the Legislative Assembly to a question raised by an Hon’ble MLA, I acknowledged the delays in JKAS departmental exams but assured that the process is nearing completion.”
The syllabus finalization for these exams is in its final stages, after which the exams will be conducted, it further stated.
Earlier, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah informed the J&K Legislative Assembly that the syllabus for the 2018-24 batches of J&K Administrative Services is in the finalization phase, and the exams will be held soon after its completion. Addressing a supplementary query by MLA Aijaz Ahmad Jan, the CM admitted the delays but reassured that the process is now close to completion. (JKNS)
