The Central University of Kashmir (CUK), School of Education, invites applications for the Junior Project Fellow vacancy under a major research project titled “Border Security Mechanism and Impact on Education: A Case Study of Educational Experiences of Students During Cross-Border Security Incidents in Jammu and Kashmir.” This project is sponsored by the Educational Research and Innovation Committee (ERIC), Division of Educational Research, NCERT, New Delhi.

Position: Junior Project Fellow
Essential Qualification:
Candidates must hold a postgraduate degree in any social science, humanities, or business studies discipline with a minimum of 55% marks.
Desirable Qualification:
NET/SLET/SET/M.Phil./Ph.D. candidates will be given preference.
Desirable Experience:
Applicants should have experience in research methodologies including data coding, analysis, report writing, fieldwork, and transcribing interviews. Preference will be given to candidates with Scopus or similar journal publications.
Duration:
The appointment is for 18 months, aligned with the duration of the project.
Remuneration:
- Ph.D. and NET qualified: ₹31,000/month
- Non-NET candidates: ₹29,000/month
