AICTE Scholarship 2025 for J&K and Ladakh Students: Online Registration Starts May 1
The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has announced the Special Scholarship Scheme (SSS) for students from the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh for the academic year 2025-26. This initiative, under the Pradhan Mantri Uchchatar Shiksha Protsahan (PM-USP) Yojana, aims to provide financial support to students pursuing higher education after completing their 10+2.

Key Highlights of AICTE Scholarship 2025 for J&K and Ladakh Students:
- Eligibility: Students who have passed 10+2 from JKBOSE or CBSE schools located in J&K or Ladakh in the sessions 2023-24 or 2024-25.
- Courses Covered:
- General Degree: Academic fee up to Rs. 30,000 per annum.
- Professional Courses (Engineering, Nursing, Pharmacy, Architecture, Hotel Management, BA LLB, etc.): Academic fee up to Rs. 1.25 lakh per annum.
- Medical/BDS or Equivalent: Academic fee up to Rs. 3.00 lakh per annum.
- Maintenance Allowance: Rs. 1.00 lakh per annum (disbursed in ten equal installments).
- Registration Date: Begins from May 1, 2025.

Registration and Document Verification
Students must visit the nearest Facilitation Center for registration. Document verification will begin at the Facilitation-cum-Document Verification Center (FDVC) starting from May 6, 2025. The list of centers is available on the official AICTE website.

Important Note
Students already availing benefits under any other scholarship scheme (such as NSP) are not eligible for this scheme.
