NEET UG 2025 Results Declared: Over 12 Lakh Qualify – Top 25 Medical Colleges in India
The National Testing Agency (NTA) declared the NEET UG 2025 results on June 14, setting the stage for the next phase in the medical admission process across India. Out of the 22.09 lakh students who appeared for the examination, 12.36 lakh candidates qualified, slightly lower than the 13.15 lakh qualifiers in 2024.
This year saw 22.76 lakh registrations for NEET UG 2025, marking a minor drop compared to 24.06 lakh in 2024. The number of students who missed the exam also fell, from over 72,000 in 2024 to about 66,700 this year.
With results now declared, students are preparing to apply for MBBS, BDS, and other undergraduate medical courses. Selecting the right college is a key step in this journey. While some aspirants have already shortlisted institutions, others may still be undecided.
