05 October: mostly cloudy weather with chances of rain thunderstorm is expected at some parts. From late evening most places may receive a spell of rain showers. Light snow is expected over higher reaches.
06 October: Widespread heavy rain/snow is expected across the Jammu and Kashmir. Moderate to heavy rain is expected over plains and heavy snowfall is expected over higher reaches. Gulmarg, Sonamarg, Doodhpatri and Pahalgam may receive seasons first snowfall.

07 October: moderate to heavy rain/snow to persist till late afternoon or evening across J&K . Improvement in weather is expected from evening.
08 October: Mostly dry weather is expected across the J&K.
