JKBOPEE Announces Mop-Up Round Counselling for NEET UG MBBS/BDS 2025: Check Eligibility, Dates, and Details

The Jammu & Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has issued Notification No. 169-BOPEE of 2025 dated 14 November 2025 regarding the Mop-up Round of Online Counselling for admission to NEET UG MBBS/BDS 2025 in Government and Private Medical/Dental colleges of J&K. This round also includes available seats under SMVDIME and ASCOMS.

This Mop-up round has been announced after the Board received vacancy details following the completion of the 3rd round of counselling. Eligible candidates can now participate in the final round to secure admission against remaining vacant seats.

Important Dates

Candidates are advised to complete the online choice filling process within the given timeline.


Who is Eligible for Mop-Up Counselling?

Candidates who fall under any of the following categories can participate:

  1. Those who did not get a seat in any previous rounds of counselling.
  2. Candidates already allotted and joined a college earlier.
  3. Candidates allotted a seat previously but did not join due to:
    • Document issues
    • Fee/payment delays
    • Failure to report
  4. Candidates who resigned from their earlier allotted seat.
  5. Fresh candidates registered with BOPEE who qualified NEET UG (MBBS/BDS) 2025 but did not participate in any previous rounds.
    • These candidates must pay Rs. 1500/- online as counselling fee.
  6. Candidates who have already paid the online counselling fee earlier do not need to pay again for this round.

Seat Allotment Rules for Mop-Up Round

  • Priority will be given to reserved category candidates based on merit-cum-preference.
  • If reserved category seats remain vacant after this round, they will be de-reserved and allotted to eligible open category candidates as per J&K Reservation Act rules.
  • Seat Matrix will be uploaded on the Board’s website before online preference filling begins.

Important Note for Candidates

  • Filling online preferences does not guarantee admission.
  • Admission will be provisional and subject to:
    • Verification of documents
    • Final approval by respective colleges/institutions
  • All terms and conditions remain as per the official Information Brochure/previous notices.

The Mop-up round serves as the last opportunity for candidates seeking admission to MBBS/BDS courses in Jammu & Kashmir for the 2025 session. All eligible aspirants should complete their online choice filling well before the final deadline to avoid any technical delays.
