The University of Kashmir, Srinagar has released Brief Advertisement Notice No. 07 of 2025 dated 13-11-2025 inviting Online Application Forms from eligible candidates belonging to the RBA (Resident of Backward Area) category of the UT of Jammu & Kashmir. The recruitment is open for one post of Legal Assistant under Pay Level-6.

Essential Qualifications
Candidates applying for the Legal Assistant post must meet the below criteria:
1️⃣ Educational Qualification
- LL.B (3-year Professional Degree) OR
- BA-LLB (5-year Integrated Degree)
- Qualification must be from a recognized University/Institute with 55% marks or equivalent grade.
- Only regular mode degrees are accepted.
2️⃣ Professional Experience
- Minimum three (03) years of active practice at the Bar
- Experience should be certified by Principal District & Sessions Judge of the concerned district where the candidate has been practicing.
