Syed Mantaqui Memorial College of Nursing & Medical Technology, under the Islamic University of Science & Technology (IUST) Awantipora, Kashmir has released a re-advertisement notification for the recruitment of Project Technical Support-III positions. The vacancies are announced under the ICMR-sanctioned research project titled:
“Comparison of respiratory health of workers and local inhabitants with general population of Kashmir valley: A cross-sectional study.”
This engagement will be purely temporary and co-terminus with the duration of the project.

Educational Qualifications
Essential Qualification:
- Graduation in:
- Nursing / Public Health / Lab Technology / Pharmacy / Epidemiology / Biostatistics
- With 3 years’ experience in relevant subject/field
OR
- Post-graduation in:
- Nursing / Public Health / Lab Technology / Pharmacy / Epidemiology / Biostatistics
- With 1 year of experience in relevant field
Desirable Skills (Preference will be given to candidates with):
- Expertise in Data Analysis using SPSS, STATA
- Publications (Minimum 3 in indexed journals as first or corresponding author)
- Scientific writing skills, systematic reviews, and meta-analysis
Age Limit
- Not above 35 years
- Relaxation up to:
- 3 years for OBC
- 5 years for SC candidates
Nature of Duties
Selected candidates will be responsible for:
- Data collection from different districts of Kashmir valley
- Data scrutization, data analysis, report writing
- Official communication including emails, letters, and processing bills
