📢 JKSSB Final Selection Update – Cancellation of Withheld Recommendation for Supervisor Post (District Cadre Reasi)

The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has issued an important notification regarding the final selection list for the post of Supervisor, Social Welfare Department, Item No. 17, District Cadre Reasi. The post was advertised vide Advertisement Notification No. 02 of 2023 dated 08 December 2023.
This notification specifically pertains to the cancellation of a withheld recommendation of one candidate.
🔹 Background of the Notification
JKSSB earlier declared the final selection list for Supervisor posts under the Social Welfare Department on 24 February 2025, through Notification No. 02-Selection of 2025. The selections were forwarded to the concerned department for further verification and documentation.
Among the selected candidates, the recommendation of the following candidate was temporarily withheld:
- Name: Ms. Priya Devi
- Parentage: D/o Pyar Singh
- Address: R/o Shiva Jatheli Dhara Doda – 182202
- Category: EWS
- Sr. No.: 01
- Item No.: 17
Her recommendation was kept withheld pending submission of a valid Economically Weaker Section (EWS) certificate within the prescribed time frame.
❌ Cancellation of Recommendation
However, according to the notification, the candidate failed to submit a valid EWS certificate despite multiple opportunities and sufficient time allotted by the Board. The case was reviewed during the 326th Board Meeting, where it was decided to cancel her withheld recommendation due to non-compliance in producing required documentation.
Thus, her candidature is now officially cancelled for:
- Post: Supervisor
- Department: Social Welfare Department
- District Cadre: Reasi
- Advertisement Notification No.: 02 of 2023
