The Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has released a crucial notification regarding corrections in the registered particulars of students. ⭐ Who Can Apply for Corrections?

Corrections are allowed only through concerned institutions, and not individually by students. This means students must contact their respective schools to apply.

JKBOSE has announced separate timelines for different classes:

✔ For Class 9th (Session 2024–25)

  • Correction is permitted for students who will appear in Class 10th Annual Regular Examination 2026 (Summer Zone)
  • Fee: ₹2000 per candidate
  • Correction Window:
    27 November 2025 – 11 December 2025

✔ For Class 10th, 11th & 12th (Eligibility Candidates)

  • Correction allowed in details recorded in the online eligibility forms for upcoming Annual Regular 2026
  • Fee: ₹1000 per candidate
  • Correction Window:
    27 November 2025 – 11 December 2025

📝 Types of Corrections Allowed

Schools can apply corrections related to:

  • Name of the Candidate
  • Parent/Guardian Name
  • Date of Birth (as per original records)
  • Subjects opted
  • Category or gender information (if needed)
  • Any clerical mistakes made during registration

🏫 Role of Schools / Institutions

Institutes play a major role in the correction process:

    • School Admission Register copy
    • Birth Certificate (if DOB correction)
    • Aadhar/other ID proof
  4. Submit cases to the Assistant Secretary / In-charge Officers of JKBOSE Sub/Branch offices in Jammu Division (Summer Zone)
