Document Verification Notice — Print & Online Journalist (SKUAST-K)
The Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir (SKUAST-K), Shalimar, Srinagar, has issued a Document Verification Notice for candidates falling under the “zone of consideration” for the post of Print & Online Journalist, advertised under Notification No. 08 of 2023 dated 13.07.2023.

- Venue: Registrar’s Office, Hall No. 1, SKUAST-K Shalimar, Srinagar
Candidates whose names appear in the annexure to this notice are required to appear in person for verification and eligibility assessment before the designated committee.
Important: This step is mandatory — failure to appear in person or to produce the required original documents will result in forfeiture of candidature.
What to Bring — Documents Required (Original + Self-attested Copies)
Please ensure you bring the following documents for verification:
- Copy of Online Application form
- Date of Birth certificate (Certificate & Marks card of Class 10ᵗʰ)
- 10+2 qualification certificate & marks card
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree certificate & marks card (if applicable)
- Experience certificate(s) (if applicable)
- Salary slip / pay statement with relevant bank statements (if applicable)
- Contract document / appointment order (if applicable)
- Domicile certificate
- Two recent passport-size photographs
- Any other documents as per the advertised qualification criteria
Terms & Conditions
- Candidates who fail to produce any required certificate/testimonial in original at the time of Document Verification will forfeit their candidature.
- Candidates who fail to appear in person on the scheduled date/time will not be called again.
- If, at the time of verification or later, any deficiency with respect to eligibility is established, the concerned candidate will be disqualified ab initio.
- Submission of fabricated/tampered documents or false information will lead to criminal prosecution, disqualification from the selection process, and barring from future examinations at the University.
- Mere appearance in the annexure does not guarantee selection — final selection is subject to fulfilment of eligibility, availability of vacancies, verification of documents, and final scrutiny.

Final Selection Process
Candidates who successfully complete document verification and meet all eligibility requirements shall be considered for final selection. The list of selected candidates will be notified separately by the University.
