🔹 General Conditions (Applicable to Both Posts)
- Only female candidates are eligible.
- Age limit: 18–37 years as on 01-01-2026
- Candidate must be a domicile of Jammu & Kashmir
- Candidate must be a resident of the electoral ward where the Anganwadi Centre is located
Eligibility for Sanginis (Anganwadi Workers)
To apply for the post of Sangini (AWW):
- Minimum qualification: 10+2 pass
- Maximum qualification: Graduation
- Selection is purely merit-based
- Preference given if:
- The candidate belongs to the family of a retired Anganwadi Worker
- In case of tie, elder candidate will be preferred

Eligibility for Sahayikas (Anganwadi Helpers)
For the post of Sahayika (AWH):
- Minimum qualification: Matriculation
- If matriculate candidate is unavailable, 8th pass candidates may be considered
- Preferably married women
- Purely merit-based selection
In case of a tie in marks, the elder candidate will be selected.
