ESIC Recruitment 2026: Apply Offline for 225 Medical Officer Posts — Salary Up to Rs 1,77,500

The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has invited applications for the recruitment of 225 Insurance Medical Officer (IMO) Grade-II posts for the year 2026. Eligible candidates with an MBBS degree and required qualifications can apply offline through the official process.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:
Candidates must possess a recognized MBBS degree and should have completed the compulsory rotating internship. Registration with the National Medical Council (NMC) or a State Medical Council is mandatory.

Special Eligibility Condition:
Only those candidates whose names appear on the Pratibha Setu Portal of UPSC for CMSE-2024 as of the closing date (17.02.2026) are eligible to apply.

Age Limit:
The maximum age limit is 35 years as of August 1, 2024, with age relaxation available as per Government of India rules for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen and others.

Pay and Benefits

Selected candidates will be offered a pay scale of Level-10 in the 7th CPC Pay Matrix, ranging from ₹56,100 to ₹1,77,500 per month. In addition to the basic pay, employees will be eligible for allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Transport Allowance as per government rules.

Selection Process

The selection will be merit-based, dependent on the marks obtained in the Combined Medical Services Examination (CMSE-2024) conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Candidates must give consent for sharing their CMSE-2024 marks with ESIC. A merit list will then be prepared category-wise, and final selection will be based on this list.

How to Apply

Interested and eligible candidates must:

  1. Fill the prescribed application form completely and accurately.
  2. Attach self-attested copies of all relevant documents (educational certificates, internship completion certificate, registration certificate, identity proof, caste/EWS/PwBD certificates, etc.).
  3. Send the application by Speed Post in a sealed cover superscribed with “Application for the post of IMO Gr. II in ESIC” to:

Applications received after the last date or sent through email/any mode other than Speed Post will not be accepted.

  • Candidates currently in government service must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of document verification.
