The Centre for Interdisciplinary Research and Innovations (CIRI) at the University of Kashmir has issued an official advertisement inviting eligible and interested candidates to appear for a walk-in interview for the engagement of Project Associate-I and Project Associate-II under the DBT-BUILDER Programme. Walk-In Interview Details

Positions Available
The University has advertised two research positions, one each under Project Associate-I and Project Associate-II categories.
1. Project Associate-II (01 Post)
- Monthly Emoluments:
₹31,000 per month + House Rent Allowance (HRA) as per funding agency guidelines - Educational Qualification:
- M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or Clinical Biochemistry
- Minimum 55% marks in the qualifying examination
- Desirable Criteria:
- Candidates who have qualified NET or similar accredited national tests
- Prior research experience in a relevant field will be considered an advantage
2. Project Associate-I (01 Post)
- Monthly Emoluments:
₹35,000 per month + House Rent Allowance (HRA) as per funding agency guidelines - Educational Qualification:
- M.Sc. in Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Clinical Biochemistry
- Minimum 55% marks in the qualifying examination
- Desirable Expertise:
Preference will be given to candidates having research experience and hands-on expertise in:- Molecular Biology
- Epigenetics
- Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS)
Nature of Appointment
It is important for applicants to note that:
- The positions are purely temporary
- Engagement is project-based and will automatically end with the completion of the project
- There is no claim for permanent absorption in the University against these positions

Candidates appearing for the walk-in interview must bring original documents along with self-attested photocopies of the following:
- Educational qualification certificates and mark sheets
- Proof of date of birth
- NET qualification certificate (if applicable)
- Experience certificates (if any)

Failure to produce original documents may result in disqualification.
