The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to release the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 provisional answer key along with the candidate response sheet today, February 4, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the January session can download the answer key and response sheet from the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in and check their marked answers.
Along with the provisional key, NTA will also activate the objection/challenge window for candidates who wish to raise concerns about any answer.

Steps to submit objections:

- Select the option to Challenge Answer Key
- Choose the question(s) you want to challenge
- Upload supporting proof/document (if required)
- Pay the objection fee (₹200 per question) online
- Submit the challenge

What Happens After Objections?
After the challenge window closes, NTA will:
- verify all objections through subject experts,
- make corrections if required,
- publish the Final Answer Key.
The final JEE Main result is then prepared using this final key.
