The University of Kashmir has officially released an Interview Notice for the appointment of Assistant Professors (Contractual) for the academic session 2026. The recruitment is being conducted by the School of Physical & Mathematical Sciences (SPMS) at the university’s Hazratbal campus, Srinagar.

Candidates must report at the venue on the scheduled date and time along with their original testimonials and certificates.
Important Instructions for Candidates
- Only those applicants who have applied in response to the university advertisement and have been declared eligible by the respective screening committees are allowed to appear.
- Candidates must bring all original documents, testimonials, and certificates for verification at the time of interview.
- No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the interview.
- Applicants are advised to check their Merit Score, which will be uploaded on the official website and the Dean’s Office portal on 10 February 2026 (evening).
- Any discrepancy in merit score must be reported within 02 days via email to the Dean, SPMS.
