JKBOPEE Releases Provisional Selection List for NEET PG MD/MS/PGD Mop-Up Round 2025 – Check Upgraded/Allotted Seats (Notification No. 031-BOPEE of 2026 Dated 17-02-2026)
The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has officially released the Provisional Selection List of candidates upgraded/allotted seats during the Physical (Mop-Up) Counselling for admission to NEET MD/MS/PGD Courses 2025 in various Government and Private Colleges/Institutions of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir, including seats under the HM quota in ASCOMS.
The notification has been issued vide Notification No. 031-BOPEE of 2026 dated 17-02-2026, and the detailed Annexure “A” containing the list of selected candidates has been made available online.
Notification Details
As per the official notice (Page 1 of the PDF) , the Mop-Up round of physical counselling for upgradation/allotment of seats to NEET MD/MS/PGD 2025 candidates was conducted on 16-02-2026.
The candidates who have been provisionally upgraded or allotted seats in various disciplines across Government and Private Medical Colleges/Institutions of J&K are listed in Annexure “A” of the notification.

Reporting Schedule for Provisionally Selected Candidates
According to the notification , all provisionally selected candidates must report to their respective allotted colleges/institutions:
- From: 17-02-2026 (1:00 PM onwards)
- Last Date: 19-02-2026 (up to 04:00 PM)
Candidates are advised to strictly adhere to the timeline. Failure to report within the stipulated period may result in cancellation of the allotted seat.
Documents Required at the Time of Admission
Candidates must carry the following original documents at the time of reporting to their allotted institution :
- Matriculation Certificate
- MBBS Degree Certificate
- Rotatory Internship Completion Certificate (up to 31-07-2025)
- MBBS Marks Cards
- NEET PG Result Card (wherever applicable)
- Domicile Certificate (for candidates belonging to UT of J&K/Ladakh)
- NMC (MCI)/J&K Medical Council Registration Certificate
- Category Certificate (if applicable)
- NMC (MCI) Clearance/Recognition Certificate (for candidates with MBBS from outside India)
- NOC for in-service candidates from the competent authority
- Proof of Identity (Aadhaar Card/Driving License/Passport or any accepted ID)
- Any other document required by the college/institution
- Service Bond (for candidates belonging to UT of Ladakh, to be provided by the institution)
Colleges/Institutions have been directed to verify all documents strictly as per NMC/MCI guidelines before allowing candidates to join.
Important Instructions for Colleges & Candidates
As mentioned in the official notification (Page 2) :
- Colleges/Institutions must submit any admission shortfall to BOPEE office (Jammu/Srinagar) by 5:00 PM on 19-02-2026 via official email.
- Institutions are instructed to keep admission counters open even on holidays/off-days to complete admissions before the cut-off date.
- Candidates are advised not to wait until the last day to complete formalities to avoid complications.
Seat Conversion & Unfilled Seats
During this Mop-Up round:
- 68 MD/MS seats and 1 PG Diploma seat remained unfilled under reserved categories due to non-availability of eligible candidates.
- These seats were converted into Open Merit (OM) category and filled based on merit-cum-preference among eligible candidates .
This conversion ensures maximum seat utilization and transparency in the admission process.
Resignation Option for Previously Admitted Candidates
Candidates who were granted admission in earlier rounds (1st/2nd/3rd rounds) and wish to resign may do so:
- On or before 19-02-2026 (4:00 PM)
This allows the Board to reflect such vacant seats in subsequent counselling rounds .
Nature of Admission
The admission granted in this Mop-Up round is purely provisional.
If any information provided by a candidate is found to be false or fabricated, the admission will be cancelled, and legal action may be initiated against the candidate .
The Board has also emphasized strict verification of category certificates by all institutions.
