The Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir (SKUAST-K) has released an official notification inviting applications for the post of Full Stack Developers on a contractual basis. According to the university notice, three vacancies have been announced for the position of Full Stack Developer. The selected candidates will be appointed for a period of one year with a consolidated monthly salary of ₹42,000.

The selected candidates will work on the development of the Integrated University Management System (IUMS) at SKUAST-K.
Educational Qualification
Candidates applying for the post must have:
- B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science or Information Technology
- Minimum 60% marks from a recognized university or institute.
Desirable Experience
Applicants with the following experience will be preferred:
- Backend development using PHP, .NET, or Python frameworks
- Frontend technologies such as React.js or Angular
- Database management including MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, or MongoDB
- Experience with RESTful API development and system integration
- Experience in academic, research, or R&D environments
- Knowledge of Windows/Linux server administration
- Familiarity with AI/ML model integration in web applications.
Essential Technical Skills
The university is looking for candidates with strong skills in:
Frontend Development
- HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
- React and Bootstrap
- Responsive web design
Backend Development
- PHP frameworks such as Laravel or CodeIgniter
- RESTful APIs and authentication systems
Database Management
- Expertise in MySQL including optimization and indexing
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL/MSSQL and MongoDB
Cloud / DevOps
- Linux or Windows servers
- Docker, virtual machines, and cloud environments
Other Skills
- Mobile development (Android/iOS) – desirable
- Understanding of modern UI/UX design principles.
