Srinagar, March 6: Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SKUAST-Kashmir) has extended the last date for submission of online applications for admission to Master’s and Ph.D. degree programmes for the Spring Semester 2026.
According to an official notice issued by the Office of the Registrar (Academic Section), SKUAST-Kashmir, candidates can now submit their applications until March 8, 2026, up to 5:00 PM.
Extension of Application Deadline
The university announced the extension in continuation of its earlier admission notification issued on February 4, 2026, and updated on March 3, 2026.
With this extension, interested candidates who have not yet applied will get additional time to complete the online application process.
Applicants can submit their forms through the official university website.
Two New PhD Disciplines Added
SKUAST-Kashmir has also introduced two additional disciplines under the Ph.D. programme for the current admission cycle:
- Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics / Economics
- Ph.D. in Agricultural Business Management
These newly added disciplines are now available on the online application portal of the university.
Revised Seat Matrix
The university stated that the revised seat matrix, including the newly added disciplines, will be reflected in the updated admission brochure available on the official website.
All other terms and conditions of admission remain unchanged as mentioned in the earlier admission notice.
