Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences has issued a notification inviting applications for Senior Resident posts in various departments through a walk-in interview. The recruitment is being conducted on an urgent basis.
According to the official notice, the walk-in interview will be held on March 19, 2026, at the Board Room, SKIMS Soura, Srinagar. Candidates who meet the required eligibility criteria can appear for the interview on the scheduled date.
Interview Details
Eligible candidates are required to report to the Academic Section, SKIMS (University Block) at 10:00 AM on the day of the interview. Applicants must bring one set of photocopies (Xerox) of all required documents along with the original certificates for verification.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for the Senior Resident posts must possess the following qualifications:
- MD/MS/DNB/MSc/PhD degree from a recognized college or university, as defined by the National Medical Commission.
- Permanent State Medical Registration certificate.
- Domicile certificate of Jammu & Kashmir.
- Date of Birth certificate.
- Marks certificates of academic qualifications.
- Research papers or publications (if any).
- Awards or recognitions (if any).
- No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the employer for candidates already working in government service.

The eligibility conditions will follow the guidelines issued by the National Medical Commission, New Delhi, as applicable from time to time.
