DSEJ Announces Revised School Timings for Summer Zone of Jammu Division from May 1
Jammu, Apr 29: The Directorate of School Education Jammu has issued an order revising school timings for all government and private recognized schools up to Higher Secondary level falling in the Summer Zone of Jammu Division.
As per order No. 155-DSEJ of 2026 issued on April 28, 2026 as per news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, the new school timing will be from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM with effect from May 1, 2026 to September 30, 2026.
The order has been issued by Director School Education Jammu and circulated to all concerned administrative and education authorities for strict implementation.
A copy of the order has been forwarded to the Commissioner/Secretary to Government, School Education Department, Divisional Commissioner Jammu, all Deputy Commissioners of Jammu Division, and other concerned officials for information and necessary action.
The Joint Director Information Jammu has also been directed to ensure wide publicity of the order through print and electronic media, while Chief Education Officers have been instructed to implement the revised timings in letter and spirit. (KNC)
