AWW Recruitment in Jammu and Kashmir: Final Provisional Selection List Announced for Sangnis Posts
The Office of the Child Development Project Officer, Poshan Project Sumbal, has officially released the provisional selection list for the AWW recruitment in Jammu and Kashmir. This recruitment pertains to the posts of Sangnis (AWW) under the Government of Jammu & Kashmir’s initiative to strengthen early childhood care and development services.
The recruitment process was initiated through advertisement notice No. 01 of 2025, dated 03-02-2025. Applications were invited from eligible candidates for various ward-based vacancies. After a detailed scrutiny of the application forms and academic verification, the District Level Selection Committee has finalized the merit list.

Based on academic merit and ward-wise eligibility, the following candidates have been selected provisionally:

- Marks: 258/500
- Percentage: 51.60%
- Masooda Bano
- Location: Ganiehar Mohalla, Palhallan B, W.No.6
- Marks: 222/500
- Percentage: 44.40%
- Tahira Hassan
- Location: Tantrapyora, Palhallan G, W.No.7
- Marks: 197/500
- Percentage: 39.40%
Candidates listed in Annexure “A” were evaluated but did not make the final provisional cut based on percentage of marks and ward eligibility.
Objection Window Open
Applicants and stakeholders have a window of 10 days from the date of publication (05-05-2025) to submit any objections or clarifications. Objections received after the cutoff date will not be entertained.
