Central University of Kashmir Revises Written Test Scheme for LDC and MTS Posts
The Central University of Kashmir has released a notice regarding the amendment in the written test scheme for the posts of Lower Division Clerk (LDC) and Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS), as per the Employment Notification No. 01 of 2023, dated January 12, 2023. This amendment will impact candidates preparing for the upcoming recruitment examination.
Key Amendments in the Written Test Scheme
Existing Provision: The original scheme stated that there would be no negative marking for wrong answers in the written tests.

Amended Provision: As per the new amendment, in the case of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) that are OMR-based:
- Each correct answer will carry one mark.
- A penalty of 0.25 marks will be applied for each incorrect answer.
This adjustment introduces negative marking to discourage guessing and ensure a fair assessment of candidates’ knowledge.
