Classwork Suspended for Students up to Class 8th in Bandipora Due to Inclement Weather

Bandipora, April 20, 2025:
In light of the persistent inclement weather, including continuous rainfall and snowfall posing potential hazards, the Chief Education Officer (CEO) Bandipora has issued a directive suspending classwork for students up to class 8th in all Middle and High Schools, both Government and Private, across the district for tomorrow, April 21, 2025.

The decision has been taken as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety and well-being of students, particularly younger children who may be more vulnerable during adverse weather conditions.

While students from Nursery to Class 8 are not required to attend school, all teaching staff have been instructed to remain present at their respective institutions as per normal routine.

The CEO Bandipora has urged all Heads of Institutions (HoIs) to comply with the directive and ensure necessary precautions are taken within school premises.

Further updates will be communicated as per the evolving weather situation.
