The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the release of provisional answer keys and OMR sheets for CUET (UG) 2024, facilitating transparency and challenge opportunities for candidates’ responses.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the release of provisional answer keys, question papers, and OMR sheets for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for Undergraduate courses (UG) conducted in May 2024. This announcement aims to provide transparency and allow candidates to verify their responses. The CUET (UG) 2024, a hybrid exam held in 379 cities worldwide, gives candidates the opportunity to access their computer-based test responses and OMR sheets for offline exams online.
Candidates can challenge the provisional answers by paying a fee of INR 200 per answer through the official website from July 7 to July 9, 2024, until 5:00 PM. Payment for the challenge can be made via debit/credit card and net banking until July 9, 2024, 6:00 pm. However, challenges will only be reviewed if the processing fee is paid, and submissions have to follow the prescribed methods. NTA stresses that no challenges will be entertained without the processing fee.
All challenges to the answer key will be reviewed by subject experts. If a challenge is confirmed to be correct, the answer key will be updated accordingly. This revised final answer key will be used to prepare and declare the results. Candidates will not receive personal notifications regarding the acceptance or rejection of their challenges.
Grievances related to the examination must be submitted by 5:00 pm on July 9, 2024. Instructions are available for those who cannot view their OMR or responses, with provided contact details for grievance procedures.
For candidates with legitimate grievances related to the CUET (UG) 2024 conducted up to June 30, 2024, NTA will consider re-conducting the examination between July 15 and 19, 2024. Affected candidates will receive admit cards for a computer-based test.
