Extension Notice for Admissions and Selection Updates at IUST
July 20, 2024: Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) has announced an extension notice for admissions for the academic year 2024. Additionally, the university has released several important notifications regarding admissions and selection for various programs.
1. Admission Selection Notification No. 05 of 2024 (B.Tech. Engineering): The university has issued its latest selection notification for the B.Tech. Engineering program. Prospective students are advised to check their status and further instructions on the official IUST website.
2. Admission Selection Notification No. 04 of 2024 (PG Programmes): Updates have also been provided for Postgraduate (PG) Programmes. Candidates who have applied should review the selection notification for detailed information on their admission status.
3. Merit Lists and Screening Reports: The merit list for Ph.D. in English Language & Literature and revised screening reports for various posts, including IT Assistant, Junior Technical Assistant, and Workshop Mechanic, have been published. Applicants are encouraged to review these reports for updates on their applications and next steps.
4. Health Awareness and Screening Program: On July 19, 2024, IUST organized a health awareness and screening program, aiming to promote health and wellness among students and staff.
5. Walk-In Interviews and Job Opportunities: The university has announced a walk-in interview for the position of Research Assistant in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE). Additionally, various positions, including Junior Research Fellow in the Department of Food Technology, are being advertised.
6. Ph.D. Results and Course Work: The Ph.D. result notification for Mr. Reyaz Ahmad Rather from the Department of Chemistry has been released. Moreover, the Ph.D. course work exam has been postponed, with a new date to be announced.
7. Upcoming Events and Notices: IUST continues to host academic events and lectures, such as the recent talk by Prof. Gautam Basu on molecular chemistry. Furthermore, there is a notice for Ph.D. entrance tests and interviews for contract positions under the DST-NIDHI i-TBI Project.
