Final Selection and Appointment of Physically Challenged Candidates in PW (R&B) Department
Srinagar Jan 5 (KSA); The Government of Jammu and Kashmir’s Public Works (R&B) Department has released Government Order No. 03 -PW(R&B) of 2024 on January 4, 2024, detailing the final selection and appointment process for Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) in the Divisional Cadre Jammu/Kashmir. The appointments are made based on recommendations from the J&K Services Selection Board and endorsed by the General Administration Department.
Key Highlights:
1. The appointment is sanctioned in continuation of Government Order No. 521-PW(R&B) of 2023 dated 21.12.2023.
2. Appointees are selected against the post of Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) in the Pay Level of SL-1 (14800-47100) in the Public Works (R&B) Department.
3. Specific documents, including educational/technical qualification degree, date of birth certificate, domicile certificate, health certificate, and relevant category certificate, must be produced for verification before joining.
4. Candidates who have taken a loan for self-employment must relinquish proprietorship and stakes in the enterprise before joining, with repayment conditions outlined.
5. The appointment is subject to an affidavit ensuring no criminal record, and legal action will be taken if documents are found fake/forged.
6. Salary disbursement is contingent upon satisfactory verification of qualification/degree certificates.
7. Appointees will be under probation for a period of 02 years.
8. The cadre/department allocation cannot be changed under any circumstances.
9. The New Pension Scheme (SRO-400 of 2009) will govern the appointees’ pensions.
10. The appointment may be canceled if candidates are found to have higher qualifications than prescribed or if there are criminal proceedings against them.
11. The outcome of any pending writ petitions will impact the appointment.
