High Court of J&K and Ladakh Recruitment 2025: Apply for 13 Driver Grade-II Posts in District Judiciary

The High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh has invited online applications for 13 District Cadre posts of Driver Grade-II in the District Judiciary of the UT of Jammu & Kashmir. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online from 28th June 2025 to 15th July 2025 through the official website www.jkhighcourt.nic.in.

📝 Eligibility Criteria

  • Domicile: Must be a domicile of the UT of Jammu & Kashmir.
  • Age Limit (as on 01.01.2025):
    • Open Merit: 40 years
    • SC Category: 43 years
    • Govt. Service/Contractual: 40 years
  • Educational Qualification:
    • Matric (10th Pass) with a valid LMV/HMV Driving License

💰 Application Fee

  • Rs. 400/- for all categories (Online payment only)

  • Last Date to Apply: 15th July 2025
  • Last Date for Fee Submission: 15th July 2025

🧪 Selection Process

  1. Driving Test (Qualifying in nature)
  2. Written Test (CBT/OMR) – 50 Marks
    • Traffic Rules and Signaling: 20 Marks
    • Motor Parts and Repair: 15 Marks
    • GK/Current Affairs: 15 Marks
  3. Interview/Viva-Voce – 10 Marks
    Note: Final selection based on combined merit in CBT and Interview.

  • No physical submission required initially. Keep documents ready for future verification.

⚠️ Important Instructions

  • Applications after the cut-off date will not be accepted.
  • Incomplete or incorrectly filled forms will be rejected.
  • No TA/DA will be provided for tests/interviews.
  • District cadre allocation will be merit-cum-preference based and final.
