The Industrial Development Bank of India (IDBI) has announced recruitment for two senior expert posts on a contractual basis. This special recruitment drive aims to strengthen the bank’s leadership in IT, compliance, and MIS functions. Unlike most banking exams, this recruitment does not require a written test. Selection will be based on shortlisting, screening, and a personal interview.

Available Posts

IDBI has released openings under Notification No. 4/2025-26 for the following positions:

1. Head – Program Management & IT (Compliance)
   • Grade: General Manager cadre
   • Key responsibilities: Overseeing IT program governance, ensuring compliance with regulations, strengthening project management systems, and handling audit/security standards.
2. General Manager (IT & MIS)
   • Role involves digitising MIS (Management Information Systems), modernising regulatory reporting processes, upgrading data systems, and implementing advanced analytics.

Contract Terms & Job Location

• The appointments will be made on a contract basis for 5 years, subject to annual review.
• The job location is expected to be Mumbai/Navi Mumbai, though the bank may post selected candidates anywhere in India.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

• Candidates should be between 40 and 55 years of age as of August 31, 2025.

Educational Qualification

• For Head – Program Management & IT (Compliance): Engineering/Science degree with MCA or equivalent qualification.
• For General Manager (IT & MIS): B.E./B.Tech./MCA/MSc-IT or equivalent.

Experience

• Applicants must have at least 12 years of professional experience in IT, with a minimum of 5 years in senior leadership roles in Banking/Financial Services.
• Experience should include IT project management, MIS, compliance, or digital transformation.

Selection Process

• There will be no written test for these posts.
• Selection will be carried out in three stages:
  1. Shortlisting of applications
  2. Screening of candidates
  3. Personal Interview (PI) – either in person at the bank’s Mumbai office or through virtual mode.
• Final selection will depend on merit, document verification, and medical fitness.
