The Indian Army has began the process for recruitment of eligible unmarried Male and unmarried Female Engineering Graduates for 65th Short Service Commission (Technical) Men (SSC(Tech)- 65 Men) and 36th Short Service Commission (Technical) Women (SSCW(Tech)- 36 Women) in Various Discipline and For Widows of Defence Personnel Only.

Eligible and interested candidates must fill out the Application form by visiting the Official website. They need to submit the application before the deadline, which is February 5, 2025. The Online Registration Application has already started.

Vacancy details
The Indian Army will fill up 381 openings as per the below mentioned categories:
- SSC(Tech)- 65 Men-350
- SSC(Tech)- 65 Women-29
- For widows of Defence Personnel-2
According to the Indian Army Recruitment 2025 official notification, the course will commence in OCT 2025 at Pre-Commissioning Training.

Selection process
Candidate’s selection will comprise in 3 Stages;
- SSB Interview
- Medical Examination
- Merit-Based Selection
Salary Details
The selected candidate will get a salary in between Rs.56100 to Rs.177500 per month.
Tenure
Selected applicants will have to undergo a Training period and the duration of Training should be 49 weeks.
Age limit
The Age Limit for SSC (Tech)-65 Men and SSCW (Tech)-36 Women position should be between 20 to 27 years and the maximum age limit for widows of Indian Armed Forces Defence personnel who Died in Harness should not be more than 35 years.
Educational qualification
The applicant who wants to apply should have passed the requisite Engineering Degree course or are in the final year of Engineering Degree course. Candidates studying in the final year of Engineering degree course should be able to submit proof of passing Engineering Degree Examination along with marksheets of all semesters/years by 01 OCT 2025 and produce the Engineering Degree Certificate within 12 weeks from the date of commencement of training at Pre-Commissioning Training Academy (PCTA).
