Indian Navy Agniveer Recruitment 2025: The Indian Navy (IN) has announced detailed information regarding the recruitment of Agniveer (SSR) for the 02/2025, 01/2026, and 02/2026 batches. Unmarried male and female candidates have a valuable opportunity to apply for these positions and become part of the prestigious Indian Navy. Applications can be submitted online until April 10, 2025.
The selection process will begin with the Stage I INET 2025 exam, which is scheduled to take place on May 25. Candidates’ scores from Stage I INET will determine who is shortlisted for Stage II of the Agniveer (SSR) recruitment for the 02/2025, 01/2026, and 02/2026 batches separately.

Educational Qualifications
- Qualified in 10+2 with Mathematics & Physics from the Board of School Education, recognized by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
- Passed a three-year diploma course in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Automobiles/ Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology/ Information Technology) from a Central, State, and UT recognized Polytechnic Institute with 50% marks in aggregate.
- Passed two years Vocational Course with a Non-vocational subject, viz, Physics and Mathematics from Education Boards recognized by Central, State, and UT with 50% marks in aggregate.

Age Criteria
- Agniveer 02/2025 Batch: Candidate should be born between 01 Sep 2004–29 Feb 2008 (Both dates inclusive).
- Agniveer 01/2026 Batch: Candidate should be born between 01 Feb 2005–31 Jul 2008 (Both dates inclusive).
- Agniveer 02/2026 Batch: Candidate should be born between 01 Jul 2005–31 Dec 2008 (Both dates inclusive).
Indian Navy Agniveer Recruitment 2025
Marital Status:
Only unmarried Indian male and female candidates are eligible for enrolment as Agniveer in the Indian Navy. Candidates will have to give a certificate of being ‘unmarried’ at the time of enrolment. Agniveers shall not be permitted to marry during their entire tenure of four years in the IN. A candidate shall be dismissed from service if he/ she marries during his/her tenure or is found to be already married despite giving a certificate of being unmarried.
Pay Allowances
Agniveers will be paid a package of Rs 30,000 per month with a fixed yearly increment. In addition, risk and hardship, dress, and travel allowances will be paid.
