Islamic University of Science & Technology (IUST) Announces Extension for Admissions 2024
The Islamic University of Science & Technology (IUST) has announced an extension for the submission of online application forms for various undergraduate and diploma programs. The new deadline is now July 29, 2024 (Monday), to accommodate students awaiting their CUET-UG 2024 results.
Undergraduate Programs
The following undergraduate programs are open for admission:
– B. Tech. Food Technology
– B.A. English (FYUGP)
– B.A. Journalism & Mass Communication (FYUGP)
– B. Sc. Economics (FYUGP)
– B. A. Islamic Studies (FYUGP)
– B. A. Arabic Language & Literature (FYUGP)
– B. Arch.
– MBA (5-Year Integrated)
– B. Sc. Physics (FYUGP)
– B. Sc. Chemistry (FYUGP)
– BS Design your Degree – DyOD (FYUGP)
– B. Sc. Mathematical Sciences (FYUGP)
– B. Sc. Computer Science (FYUGP)
Diploma Programs
Three-year polytechnic diploma programs include:
– Diploma in Civil Engineering
– Diploma in Electrical Engineering
– Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Special Note
Candidates who have passed a 3-Year Engineering Diploma (at par with NCrF Level IV) are also eligible for admission to various undergraduate programs at IUST.
Candidates who have not appeared in CUET-UG 2024 can still apply online for admission. However, first preference will be given to CUET-UG 2024 candidates. Selection for remaining seats will be based on the University Entrance Test or percentage of marks in the qualifying examination.
Revised Eligibility for B. Sc. Physics (FYUGP)
Candidates must have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 55% marks with Physics as one of the subjects from JKBOSE or any other recognized board.
