Eligibility Criteria
Engineering & Technology Departments
For disciplines like Computer Science & Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, and Architecture (Structural Engineering):
- B.E./B.Tech./B.S. and M.E./M.Tech./M.S. or Integrated M.Tech. in relevant branch with first class in any one of the degrees.
- OR Ph.D. in relevant discipline awarded as per UGC Regulations 2009/2016 and amendments.
- Direct Ph.D. after B.E./B.Tech. is also acceptable, provided UGC norms are fulfilled.
- Ph.D. from foreign universities ranked in top 500 (QS, THE, ARWU) is also valid
For Architecture posts, registration with the Council of Architecture (COA) is mandatory as per the Architects Act, 1972 .
Artificial Intelligence & Computer Science
- Master’s degree with minimum 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in relevant/allied subjects.
- OR Engineering qualification with first class in relevant branch.
- Ph.D. as per UGC Regulations is required or preferred depending on category
Management Studies
- Master’s degree with 55% marks in relevant subject.
- Ph.D. as per UGC Regulations 2009/2016 or from top-ranked foreign universities
Salary & Tenure
- Monthly Emoluments: ₹50,000
- Tenure: Initially for 2026 up to 31st December or till regular appointment, whichever is earlier.
- Extension is possible based on annual performance appraisal, student feedback, departmental recommendation, and university requirements .
Leaves and vacations shall be governed as per university norms.

The university has prescribed a detailed scoring system (Total 100 Marks):
- Academic Record – 80 Marks
- Research Publications – 10 Marks
- Teaching/Post-Doctoral Experience – 10 Marks
Key highlights:
- Ph.D. carries 30 marks.
- NET with JRF – 7 marks; NET – 5 marks; SET/SLET – 3 marks.
- Research publications in Scopus/Web of Science indexed journals carry 2 marks per paper.
- Teaching/Post-Doctoral experience – 2 marks per year (proportionate if less than one year).
- Maximum marks caps apply for M.Phil + Ph.D., JRF/NET, and Awards .
Where applications exceed manageable limits:
- 20 candidates per post and 5 additional per extra post will be shortlisted for interview .
The final merit list panel will remain valid for one year.
