IUST Invites Applications for Interns in Heritage Conservation Research Project
The Department of Architecture, School of Architecture, Planning and Geomatics at Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) has invited online applications from eligible B.Arch students for engagement as Interns in a research project titled “Documentation and Conservation of Three Historical Graveyards of Kashmir.”
The research project is supported by the Barakat Trust, UK, and the engagement is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
Vacancy Details
- Name of Position: Intern
- Number of Posts: 04
- Remuneration: ₹10,000 per month (consolidated)
- Duration: Six (06) months or till completion of the project, whichever is earlier
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be registered B.Arch students of the Department of Architecture, IUST Kashmir
- Have proficiency in CAD-based drafting, rastering, and measured drawing (desirable)
Terms & Conditions
- The appointment will be purely temporary and will not confer any right to regularization.
- Interns will be governed by the disciplinary rules and regulations of the university.
- Performance will be reviewed periodically, and unsatisfactory performance may lead to termination without prior notice.
- Interns will not be permitted to publish or disclose research findings without the consent of the Principal Investigator.
- The university reserves the right to defer or not fill the advertised posts without assigning any reason.
- Salary disbursement will be subject to the release of funds by the funding agency.
