Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board releases final selection list for Assistant Scientific Officers
The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released the final selection list for the posts of Assistant Scientific Officers (ASOs) in various fields, including Narcotics, Chemistry and Toxicology, DNA, Biology/Serology, Physics, Ballistics, Documents, and Cyber Forensics.
A total of 23 posts were advertised, and the selection process was based on an indent received from the Home Department. The posts are in Level-6 of the pay matrix, with a salary range of Rs. 35,900-1,13,500.
The selection list includes the names and roll numbers of the candidates who have been shortlisted for the posts. The JKSSB has also released a list of the number of vacancies for each category, including Open Merit (OM), Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Physically Disabled (PD), and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS).
The candidates who have been shortlisted will be required to undergo document verification and a medical examination. The JKSSB will release a separate notification with the details of the verification process.
