The JEE Main 2025 (session-2) registration window is about to close on February 25. The Central Seat Allocation Board shared the important information with a press release. Candidates can submit their application by 9:00 pm, while the payment deadline is 11:50 pm.

JEE Mains provides aspiring engineers with a world-class education and access to get into leading universities, which includes:
- 31 National Institutes of Technology (NITs)
- 26 Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs)
- 3 Schools of Planning and Architecture (SPAs)
- 37 Government-Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs)

- Select a new candidate registration.
- Fill out the registration form.
- Create password and submit.
- Verify email and phone number.

- Fill in the application form with the required details.

- Download or save the copy for future reference.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR JEE MAIN (2025)
Age limit: There is no age limit for candidates appearing for JEE Main 2025. Students who passed their Class 12 (or equivalent) in 2023, 2024 or are appearing in 2025 are eligible.
Qualifying examinations:
- Candidates must have passed or appearing in one of the following:-
- 10+2 board examination from a recognised Central/State Board.
- Intermediate or Pre-University examination from a recognised board.
- National Defence Academy’s Joint Services Wing examination.
- Senior Secondary School Examination by NOIS with at least five subjects.
- International Baccalaureate Diploma from IB office Geneva.
- Higher Secondary Certificate Vocational Examination.
- Higher Secondary Certificate Vocational Examination.
JEE MAIN 2025 SESSION 2 SEAT ALLOCATION
Each year, nearly 24,00 seats are available across NITs in India. Approximately 2,000 seats are expected to be reserved under the state quota for NITs in the Northeast in 2025, along with 740 seats under the NUET category.
To support the North East students, CSAB offers counselling rounds:
- CSAB-NEUT round: Allocates seats in AICTE-approved institutes across India for students from North-East states and Union Territories.
- CSAB Special round: Provides additional opportunities for students who couldn’t secure a seat in JoSAA/CSAB rounds.
Students qualified in JEE Main can participate in the JoSAA/CSAB counseling process through the official websites.
